The Volkswagen e-up! is an all-electric city car in the Volkswagen Group’s family of electric vehicles. Available in several versions, one with an 18.7 kWh battery and the second with a 32.2 kWh battery, this model offers a range of up to 260 km depending on the version and the WLTP cycle.

Beneath its compact, elegant design, the e-up! houses a 61 kW (83 hp) electric motor that delivers instant acceleration and a quiet ride. The car offers a pleasant, responsive driving experience, perfectly suited to city traffic.

Charging the e-up! is simple and convenient. It can be done using a standard household socket in around 4 hours, so you can easily recharge overnight at home. For faster recharging, a fast-charging station can considerably reduce the recharging time.

The lithium-ion battery on board the Volkswagen e-up! is similar to that on the Seat Mii and Škoda Citigo e-iV, with 17 battery modules each comprising 12 cells, making a total of 204 cells. The nominal battery voltage is 374 V, with a rated energy of 18.7 kWh. The peak power rating is 61 kW, while the average power rating is 40 kW.

In terms of energy efficiency, the Volkswagen e-up! also benefits from a near-zero air penetration coefficient, optimized rolling resistance and energy-efficient components. These features contribute to greater range and energy efficiency.

In terms of range, the Volkswagen e-up! offers a range of 130 km to 160 km according to the WLTP standard.
