The MG ZS EV is an electric SUV produced by the Chinese car manufacturer MG Motors. It is equipped with a 143 hp electric motor and a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that offers a range of up to 263 km (WLTP cycle). The MG ZS EV has a braking energy recovery function. It offers practical features such as adaptive cruise control, tire pressure monitoring and parking assistance.

At launch, the MG ZS was equipped with a 105 kW engine (143 horsepower equivalent) and 353 Nm of torque. Since restyling, the vehicle is offered in two engine variants: 115 and 130 kW. In both cases, the top speed is limited to 175 km/h and the 0 to 100 km/h reaches in 8.6 seconds.

The MG ZS EV is equipped with a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that powers the car’s electric motor. The battery consists of 16 battery modules, each containing 12 cells. Each cell has a capacity of 63 Ah and a nominal voltage of 3.7 volts. The battery weighs about 360 kg.

The battery voltage rating is 400 volts and is capable of providing a maximum power of 105 kW. The MG ZS EV has an official range of 263 km according to the WLTP approval cycle.

The MG ZS EV battery is compatible with CCS Combo 100 kW fast chargers, allowing you to recover up to 80% of the battery charge in about 40 minutes. The car can also be charged on a home socket at a charging rate of 2.3 kW, or on a public charging station at a charging rate of 7 kW.
