The Peugeot 308 SW PHEV is the plug-in hybrid break version of the Peugeot 308. It has the same technical characteristics as the PHEV sedan version, coupling a 1.6-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined power of 180 hp or 225 hp depending on the version. Each model is equipped with a 12.4 kWh lithium-ion battery with an electric range of about 60 km (WLTP cycle). However, the SW version offers more interior space and load capacity thanks to its break configuration. It can accommodate up to five passengers with a trunk volume of up to 608 litres in standard configuration and up to 1,634 litres when the rear seats are folded down.

Battery of the Peugeot 308 SW PHEV version : 180 ch

The Peugeot 308 SW is available in gasoline and diesel versions, but also in plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version is equipped with a 1.6L PureTech 150 hp petrol engine combined with an 81 kW (110 hp) electric motor.

Common to both versions, the lithium-ion battery has 12.4 kWh of energy capacity. In 100% electric mode, the new 308 can travel up to 60 km in WLTP cycle.

Located on the left rear wing, the charging hatch houses a type 2 connector. The 308 hybrid plug-in comes standard with a 3.7 kW charger. It allows a charge in 7 hours on a domestic socket and in 4 hours with a reinforced installation. Optionally, the 308 can be equipped with a 7.4 kW charger. Subject to having a suitable terminal, it will allow a full charge in less than two hours.
