Launched in early 2021, the Opel Mokka-e is the brand’s first SUV. Based on the PSA Group’s eCMP platform, it uses the same technology used on board the Peugeot e-2008 and the DS 3 Crossback e-tense.

The Opel Mokka Electric is equipped with a 100 kW (136 horsepower) electric motor. Installed on the front axle, it develops up to 260 Nm of torque and allows a top speed of up to 150 km/h.

As with the other models of the PSA Group, the Opel Mokka electric offers three driving modes (Eco, Normal and Sport) that will influence the power. A «B» mode, reinforcing the effect of the engine brake, is also proposed.

Battery of the Opel Mokka-e version : 50 kWh

The Mokka-e is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 50 kWh. This battery consists of 216 lithium-ion cells and can provide a maximum power of 100 kW. It is capable of travelling approximately 322 km according to the WLTP certification cycle.

The Mokka-e battery is compatible with the DC CCS Combo 100 kW fast charging stations, allowing you to recover up to 80% of the battery charge in about 30 minutes. In AC AC charging mode, the Mokka-e can be recharged up to 11 kW, allowing up to 100% of the battery charge to be recovered in about 5 hours.

The battery of the Mokka-e is also equipped with an energy regeneration system, allowing to recover energy during braking or deceleration.
