In collaboration with American manufacturer Tesla, the German company has developed the B-Class Electric Drive, incorporating Tesla technology.
The interior design of the B-Class Electric Drive is similar to that of its internal combustion version, with the exception of the floor, which has been raised slightly to accommodate the vehicle’s battery without compromising interior space. The boot volume remains unchanged at 501 litres.

Powered by an engine generating 177 bhp, the B-Class Electric Drive offers an impressive torque of almost 340 Nm. These features enable this electric car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 8 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 km/h.

The lithium-ion battery in the Mercedes B-Class has a total capacity of 16.2 kWh and a useful capacity of 10.9 kWh.

Using a Type 2 connector, the battery can be charged up to 7.4 kW in alternating current (AC), enabling it to be fully charged in 1 hour and 45 minutes. The CCS connector, for rapid charging in direct current (DC), offers a maximum power of 22 kW, reducing charging time to just 25 minutes.
