The Audi e-tron is an all-electric SUV produced by German carmaker Audi. It is Audi’s first all-electric vehicle, and offers a premium driving experience combined with a high-performance electric powertrain.

The vehicle is equipped with a high-capacity battery, offering a range of up to 436 km according to the WLTP cycle. The e-tron also features an energy recovery system, which recharges the battery by recovering kinetic energy during braking and deceleration.

In terms of recharging, the Audi e-tron can be charged from a standard household socket or from a fast-charging station. Audi also offers its network of high-power charging stations, known as the “Audi Charging Service”, for fast, convenient charging on the move.

Battery of the Audi e-tron version : 50 quattro

The Audi e-tron 50 quattro is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 71 kWh. This battery consists of several modules containing lithium-ion cells. The modules are arranged to optimize vehicle space and balance.

The battery’s nominal voltage is around 408 volts, providing adequate electrical power for the vehicle’s electric motor. Thanks to its 71 kWh battery, the Audi e-tron 50 quattro offers an electric range of up to around 310 kilometers according to the WLTP homologation cycle. This range may vary according to factors such as driving speed, road conditions and driving habits.

The Audi e-tron 50 quattro’s battery can be recharged using public or home charging stations. Using a fast-charging station, up to 80% of the charge can be recovered in around 30 minutes, while a full charge from a domestic socket can take several hours.
